Thursday, March 2:
The Growth of Ransomware and What Business Can Do to Protect Themselves.

Meet Mr. Ara Aslanian, a Glendale-based entrepreneur, as he talks about the tools you need to protect yourself, your business and your wallet from falling victim to ransomware attacks.

When: Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM

Ara Aslanian is the Founding Partner and CEO of Inverselogic Inc. Founded in 1998 in Glendale, Inverselogic provides Technology Consulting, Infrastructure Design, Technical Support, Application Development and Cyber Security services. Recently, Mr. Aslanian founded reevert Storage, llc., a SaaS based startup focused on providing cloud based data backup, storage and recovery solutions. In addition to his day-to-day duties, Mr. Aslanian is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Community Center of La Canada Flintridge and also serves on the Verdugo Workforce Development Board.

Event Details: Coffee and light pastries will be provided. Thirty minute talk starts at 8:15 a.m. Casual environment with good company and great conversation!

Venue: Get a sneak peek into the newly constructed Antaeus Theatre Company, which officially opens March 2nd, 2017. The City of Glendale is excited to be a part of the festivities celebrating the opening weekend of the Antaeus Theatre. Antaeus Theatre Company is a cooperative theatre ensemble founded to empower the actor and to bring classical theatre to Southern California. The Antaeus Theatre Company exists to create a family of artists and audiences and is dedicated to exploring stories with enduring themes.

Wednesday, March 8:
Technologies That Power Small Businesses

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Moose Den (156 S. Brand Blvd, Glendale, CA) with Mr. Bryan Soto of LANAIR. You don’t need to be a multi-national corporation to leverage the power of IT to grow your business. Learn about new and affordable technologies that keep your business secure, and project a professional image of success. This talk will discuss tips and tricks related to Office 365, anti-virus and malware spam protection, cloud sync files, data backup and cloud hosted services.

Wednesday, April 12:
Rolling Robots

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Moose Den (156 S. Brand Blvd, Glendale, CA). Hear from Bing Jiang, co-founder and owner of Rolling Robots, Inc., a children's robotics and STEM entertainment and education company offering birthday party service, after-school and weekend STEM workshops, and STEM summer, winter and spring camps.
